New Back to the future X2 CD
Soundtracks fans ... question re the above.
This new soundtrack with 2 discs ... has this finally got everything on or is there still stuff missing? Anyone know?
I am a little reluctant to buy this incase they do the same with the soundtrack to BTTF 2 & 3 in the near future ... and then release a box set like with superman and Indiana Jones which I would buy. Is this likely do you think or is this years away? My thinking here is that if they were to do this what would be the point in buying this one?
Thoughts/suggestions/opinions?

Hard to imagine this one missing anything, looks like that the INtrada guys put every single track they could find. Heck, there's even an entire alternate score!
If you're a Silvestri fan or a BTTF fan, don't miss this one. Its sound quality looks like miles away from Varèse's Predator.
I'm aware there has been rumors about a BTTF score box set, but it seems higly unlikely to me, considering that the two sequels had decent score albums released (the third one still being in print). Intrada will maybe try to release the two other in their Special Collection.

I think a BTTF-Box is very improbable !
The release(licence)-rights for the BTTF-2&3-scores are on the Varese-Sarabande company.
So I think, if someday the BTTF-2&3-scores are released as expanded/complete or whatever-named version; then it came as Varese-Sarabande-(Soundtrack-Club)CD-release.
I suppose; that Intrade can release the BTTF-1 score, because they have a contract on the old LP-catalog-release-rights from the MCA-records company. Many of the Intrade-CDs in the last years, are released on this MCA-LP-catalog-contract.
And the old BTTF-1-CD/LP's were released in the 80's from the MCA-records company !!!
That is all, that I can say to your question.
I hope, that it can help you.
I think you should buy the Intrada-2-CD-release !!!

BACK TO THE FUTURE - PART II was released by MCA Records, not Varèse. In any case, I also think a Box Set is improbable.
