On capitalization in track titles
Hello,
I guess most folks might not care (and in fact even our limited edition labels often get it wrong – Lukas Kendall's FSM is actually the only label to get this right), but for those who do take great care with the track listings they submit, you might want to know how to get ENGLISH capitalization right. A few years ago, I found this link:
http://aitech.ac.jp/~ckelly/midi/help/caps.html
It explains in simple terms and brevity the most important rules to apply.
And if you just don't know what "capitalization" is about, here's a track title example (from "On Her Majesty's Secret Service"):
Wrong: "This Never Happened To The Other Feller"
Right: "This Never Happened to the Other Feller"
I'm not going to delve into German capitalization (just let me say that capitalizing the starting letter of each and every word is very wrong), but I hope that the link is helpful to those who do want to get the track titles right.
Best wishes,
Urs
