Question

Contacting BuySoundtrax??

Hi,

I've ordered lots of times from BSX in the past, without any problems whatsoever.
I did notice some negative feedback on the forum here regarding them, and I'm afraid I might be joining that club.

On the 24th november I ordered 2 CDs, including Intrada's BTTF, which was just released and available. It then sold out, but is available again, since Intrada has more than the standard 3000 pieces.

To this day, my order still has not even shipped, so I e-mailed them twice: a reply to my order, and to the contact address they state on their site.
To no avail, still no news from them.

So here is my question: Does anyone know the best way to get in touch with BSX, regarding the issue stated above?

Thanks in advance!

It is a lengthy and cumbersome process but they do eventually contact you so keep on emailing them until you get a response. I got a bonus ltd. ed. CD from them because of the length of time it took to get my issue resolved. So stick with it!

Well, I eventually got a response after I ignored their "reply-to" address (info@buysoundtrax.com) and used their sender address instead: mrgnp@earthlink.net

If you hit the REPLY button in your mailing application, you will usually find the former (info) address in the TO field by default, so delete that one and manually type in or paste the other adress.

Thanks guys!
I did use the earthlink.net address in my second e-mail. Guess I'll keep on trying then...

I had to wait a whole month for STARCRASH. It was indicated as being in stock on their website, should have taken a week to reach me. Never ever received a response to my enquiry, even after I entered into a dispute through PayPal. (Then I got the CD!)

hi,
i also had problems with two orders a couple years ago. to force them answer me, i send them 2 emails per day (they have 2emails address if i'm correct) & threatened them to explain my situation & their lack of reliance & professionalism on every soundtrack forum site... not nice from me but it worked...
hope it'll help you.

You might want to try calling them; you might just get their answering machine, but
sometimes a person actually picks up.

Thanks for the feedback!

Calling them is a nice option I would consider, but I'm from Europe, so that could get costly.
I've written them almost every day now (in a friendly manner), but still got no reply.
I also don't think it's fair that they charged my VISA instantly, when to this day the items still have not shipped.

To the last response:

I tried to contact BSX via the info@ and other posted address, for weeks, with no result.
My latest email DID get a reply, and my order was shipped soon after.
I'm sure you realise that this is frustrating for paying customers, and I truly hope BSX's email service policy will change for the better in the future.

I have the same problem. I ordered 3 CDs (including BTTF) at the end of November 2009 and I'm still waiting for delivery. It's more then 2 MONTHS now and still no response from BSX.

Is there anybody who didn't receive CDs from BSX at all? I would like to know if something like that could happen or not.

Thanks in advance!

Yes, I also have the same problem: on Dec, 26 I ordered some CDs at their site, but I still haven't received them. No reply on my mail. So why doing business with BSX? There are more reliable shops in the net. This is not the right way to treat the customers.
Greetings

According to Ford Thaxton, mrgnp(at)earthlink.net has now been changed to: MRBSX(at)earthlink.net.
