Question

I have just recieved the John Barry 4-CD box-set REVISITED incl. the music from Zulu in stereo. I also have the RPM 195 album with same tracks in stereo. Richard Burton has the narration on the Revisited album in the left channel on the RPM album in the right channel, and the same on the SONY Themependium 4-CD box-set. Does anybody know wich is the right one. I am not shure if the Zulu soundtrack was issued on LP in stereo. I only have the United Artist mono LP.

Answers

ZULU was only issued on LP (at least the score component) in re-channelled stereo. There was never a true stereo release.

Zulu was issued by Silva Screen in mono with the Zulu stamps in stereo.(1988) Zulu was also issued on United Artists LP in simulated stero. (1964)
