Monsters in Motion used to sell the CD-R bootleg, but I don't see it there any longer either...I bet if you e-mailed them, they'd find a copy for you.

Coincedentally, I had ordered a copy of Fright Night from Monsters In Motion before reading this, so it is available, but in limited quantities.
I've also ordered the "complete" Transformers soundtrack which I have seen go for silly money on ebay, but only rarely.

Both the Transformers CD and the Fright Night CD that you receive from MIM will be bootleg CD-Rs. The ORIGINAL complete Transformers CD was in fact a pressed CD (not a CD-R like the one that MIM is selling), so that's why it demands such a high price at auction.

As far as the Fright Night CD goes, the ones being sold on eBAY are the same exact CD-R bootleg that is being sold by MIM, but most people who are bidding on eBAY either don't know or don't care that they're bidding on a CD-R, so they've been shelling out $100 or more for it.

The Japanese "Reflex Records" release of the Fright Night score/soundtrack has the best-quality sound and packaging, but it is VERY rare (only 150 copies pressed) and has sold for over $400 on eBAY.

i have 2 really rare soundtracks went to germany last year and picked up fright night soundtrack and young guns soundtrack really rare stuff only problem is that the writing on the back of the cds are in german but who cares right you got 2 great soundtracks for hardly nothing i paid get back to me if anybody interested in buying 1 of them i have other rare soundtracks like manhunter also.

I have the orginal Fright Night soundtrack on cassette. The cassette is in very good playing condition without any noticeable flaws.

take a look on www.musicstack.com believe me you will find the original soundtrack on LP more of them as a matter of fact.
When you scroll down you'll find one on CD as well, but this one is a bit expensive (209 USdollar)

I have the original Fright Night Brad Fiedel score if anyone would like it. I would have to do a file transfer over, say, Yahoo Messenger, but it is worth it. Eighteen tracks of the original instramental music, including the seductive "Come to Me" instrumental version played by Jerry Dandridge's hi-fi cassette stereo system. Very nice.

HI. Can't believe it's been two years since i;ve posted on here and i still havn't got a copy of the soundtrack. I stopped looking for a while coz it got too expensive and i didn't have t'internet. However, if anyone has a copy of the soundtrack (don't mind a CD-R as long as the Brad Fiedel score is included) i would be more than grateful.

I used to have the movie soundtrack on cassette. Now I only have the case and have no idea where the tape went. I can't believe as many people are interested in it as I am. I want to replace the tape with a CD but the prices are ridiculous. If anyone knows where I can get it (even on cassette), I'd appreciate the info.
