Vic Mizzy scores on sale at ScreenArchives
Spent more that I can afford at the screenarchives clearance sale. Bought a copy of each Vic Mizzy score, hell a couple were under 5 dollars. Grabbed a few GDM discs as well.
Thanks to the good Canadian posting at FSM board for bringing it to attention.

And don't forget to give a chance to the Michael J. Lewis catalogue of promotional CDs. There are a few gems there for a more than reasonable price.
This excellent composer deserves more attention from the aficionado, and this is a golden opportunity to purchase some of his best efforts for less than $10 each.

I noticed those Michael J. Lewis score. I'm thinking about grabbing a few in a couple of weeks in they're still around. I have one score of his on vinyl (The Madwoman Of Chaillot) and have always liked it.

Yes, THE MADWOMAN OF CHAILLOT is really beautiful. I have the vinyl too, and the CD has much more gorgeous music. Apart from this title, others from the SAE clearance that I love are SPHINX and the very rare UNMAN, WITTERING AND ZIGO. I've taken advantage of the opportunity and have completed my Michael J. Lewis collection with 5 more of his CDs.
I couldn't resist the temptation and also ordered the 8 volumes from the collection KOMPONIERT IN DEUTSCHLAND, for only $4.95 each. Sometimes you find really interesting things among film composers who remain out the mainstream. I've been listening to these CDs lately and don't regret having purchased them.

Recieved yesterday the last four of the discs I ordered and just finished up "The Ghost And Mr.Chicken". I can only imagine the good times those guys had creating and performing that music in 1960's Southern California. Different scene nowadays with gang graffiti everywhere you look and some real psychotics on the streets. Last time I passed through the area the place was more insane than eccentric.
