Could the track be "Furious Angels" by Rob Dougan? If not then it might just be an original composition by Don Davis. There is a 2 cd complete set floating around.

It does kinda sound similar to Furious Angels, but it's not the same. I'm almost certain it exists as a standalone track of some sort (rather than an obscure mix) because I recently heard it being played in the background on the radio when the DJs were engaging in idle chit-chat.

As far as I am aware it IS "Furious Angels" but it is tracked in from midway through this song - the music used is not from the beginning of the song.

I haven't listened to the two cues (from the movie and from Dougan's recent 2-CD release) to see if the clip used in the movie is a remix of the version released on his 2-CD set. But it sounds to me like it is the same.
