For Italian Soundtrack Lovers: Amore Libero/ Frizzi and Goblin

You Italian soundtrack lovers really need to check out this disc. I just got it today and its gorgeous. According to the linear notes, this is Fabio Frizzi's debut soundtrack. (And what a debut it is; great keyboard work, lush orchestrations by Vince Tempera, and a dash of groove for good measure. Not only that, but band members from Goblin are credited as soloists. Don't miss it if you have not heard the original LP, guys. Best!

Thanks for the recommendation Fantallusion. I was thinking on purchasing it soon. QUARTET RECORDS is doing some great work lately!

Yes, just got this soundtrack and the one for Summertime Killer also released by Quartet Records. Listening to Amore Libero right now. Just as good as I expected/remembered it to be.

The movie is out on DVD by MYA but the quality of that release isn't up to the standards of the soundtrack cd I'm afraid :)
