CAPITAL H-Q LIBRARY
Hi. Does anybody know who licenses this music, or is is now considered PD? Many thanks.

Capitol Hi-Q no longer exists as a library so the rights have reverted back to the composers/publishers. Depending on the cues you wish to license, you can find composer and publisher information on the BMI or ASCAP web site. Capitol Hi-Q material was recently licensed for a new CD release of the 'Night of the Living Dead' soundtrack, which for some reason this web site refuses to list in their database.

I recently interviewed Jim Cirronella, the producer of the new
soundtrack CD which features the Capitol Hi-Q tracks, and he
offered up further details on the composers and the label's
genesis (much as is known). See

for further info.

Thanks very much!
I'm particularly interested in the tracks used in the Hanna/Barbera cartoons. Any idea if they
are available anywhere, or, who owns the usage rights?
