Family Plot from Varese Sarabande
I'm sure most of you already know, Varese Sarabande has released a 5000 copy run of the 1976 John Williams score for Alfred Hitchcock's, "Family Plot".
I have my copy ordered.

Same here, ordered. I thought it was the most interesting release
among these Varese Club titles. The samples sound great. You also
hardly notice that they have a stereo "field" rather than a traditional
stereo instrumental "spread" (and I understood 'Coma' also had
this treatment).

I'm looking forward to it. Alfred Hitchcock and John Williams together! Every now and then a disc comes along that really has a special appeal to me personally and this is one of those. I've never seen the film. If I'm not mistaken it's the final Alfred Hitchcock film.
Bruce Dern, who stars in Family Plot once took time to toss a tennis ball with my canine buddy John on the beach in Santa Monica, California.
