			   						| "The Belle of New York" - Sony cd soundtrack
Hi,I'd like to know if the 1991 Sony cd release of the original soundtrack recording of the Fred Astaire film "The Belle of New York" was produced using the original master tapes or was it just recorded from a copy of the film - meaning that there are sound effects, dialouge, etc. It has a few more tracks than the version originally released on MGM records so I'm a little skeptical.
 Thanks,
 Andrew

The Sony CD is from the mixed soundtrack of the film. The producers do their best to start/stop the music to avoid dialogue that occurs
before/after the musical selections, but sounds that are within the
selected tracks will appear on the CD.
