Extended Pirates of the Caribbean 4?
Once again, the powers that be have truncated what I think could be an awesome score by including about 8 "remixes" and leaving out a whole-lotta score. If anyone hears anything about an extended release, please let me know. Thanks!

It would probably make more sense for them to release a second "Soundtrack Treasures" boxset, when these next three films are finished.
The first set, was nicely presented, added only a demo track for the first film, a couple of new tracks for the second, and a whole chunk of extra stuff or the third, including the stuff for the "East India Trading Company". The near-complete Pirates 3 score is awesome.
I've not yet seen the film, though my Pirates 4 disc has arrived today.
When Zimmer releases these discs, the tracks are often edited as "suites" that make more sense than they do in the film. One notable example is "The Kraken" from Pirates 2; glorious subtle build-up on disc, which I prefer to how they edit it on film.
But, I do feel your pain as it were, for all these "remixes"!

True, but I want it now, haha! The remixes wouldve been interesting as an additional material. I could take them or leave them honestly. The Chanting Mermaids was a kinda cool version of "Mermaids" and really captures mounting tension, like 28 Days Later score or Plunkett & Macleane. Honeslty Id rather have the FANTASTIC piece of music that was more or less the "Fountain of Youth" suite from the movie, which is not on the score.
