Didn't you love it on the Oscars a couple of years ago when Ennio received a lifetime achievement award, and Clint Eastwood was on-stage with him to translate? Wonderful moment that year.

To one of the most important composers of 20th and 21st century, I wish you a happy birthday! Simply put, the world of music would not be the same without Mr. Morricone. A true artist if ever there was one.

Happy birthday to the maestro. It's so great that he's still with us and active at 83.

I was extremely lucky to attend a concert conducted by Morricone in July. Excellent !

London (2001)..............pure magic !!!
