Spellbound
I have a 3 record 78 rpm album of music from SPELLBOUND and SINCE
YOU WENT AWAY issued on Selznick library of motion picture music
indicating it is for promotional purposes only. Inside is a small brochure
announcing that finally scores will be made available for broadcasting on
radio. The selznick studio logo is on the album. The 3 discs are shinny
and look as if they were rarely played. I was wondering if anyone ever
had any information on this set.

I have no idea about the value of the set, but the description sounds like it were a real treasure!
Kind regards,

Would you sell it?

I might consider selling it if I had more information about its fair market
value.

There was an issue of Spellbound on 78 rpms made in 1945, but it is described in the Osborne Price Guide for 2008 as a four disc set; label: Ara ARA-2. Value $50-$75, but who knows what a collector might be willing to pay on ebay? You can also check with the Rozsa Society: Pro Music Sana.

The album I have contains 3- 12" records. The label is white and
indicates it is for reference work only and not for sale or broadcasting.
The label on the side for Since You Went Away indicates series no. 1 RR-
13014. The side with Spellbound says series no. 2 RR-13015. The
Spellbound side indicates it is the Selznick Recording Orchestra
conducted by the composer, Dr. Miklos Rozsa.

Would you sell it now?
