Serpent and the Rainbow
Hi...I just received this soundtrack in the mail after winning it on Ebay. The seller claimed it was the genuine article but I want to be sure. The CD itself doesn't appear to be a CD-R, but it's all white. There are two labels listed on this website for this soundtrack, and I'm not sure which one it is (if either). The track times do not exactly match the ones for VCD 47362, so I'm guessing it's the other one, STV-81362, but I don't see that number anywhere on the CD or liner notes. Could someone who has this genuine CD describe it and the liner notes for me, or let me know how I can tell if it's real? Thanks!

Hello Artie,
The STV number is the vinyl-lp edition of the score,
the VCD is the cd, and there is an error in the
tracklisting on the back-cover.
The cd has only 18 tacks despite
the 19 titles mentioned on the cover
If I put the cd in the player the display
shows 18 tracks total time 42.30
(my cd is a real one, I'm shure)
The label is black ink directly on the silver cd
Hope this helps, if you still have doubts
I can make a scan and send it to you

Thanks a bunch. Yep, indeed...it's a fake. Should've known.
Take care.
