Ennio Morricone: Challenge
Hello,
I am looking for some help identify some Ennio Morricone tracks from an old film that my Dad made back in around 1970.
My dad passed away a few years back and I promised myself that I would transfer his film and redo all the audio because most of it is from an old real-to-real tape and is very distorted.
I have identified around 90% of the Morricone tracks that he used but the remaining 10% I just cannot identify.
I am 100% sure that I will have these tracks somewhere in my Dad's old collection of Morricone CD's/LP's (which runs into the 100's!) but if somebody can help me identify the tracks it will save me a hell of a lot of time going through them all.
The tracks must have been before 1971 (when he made it) - if you think you can help please email me at paulmh@btinternet.com and I can arrange for you to have a listen to the old real-to-real clips I am having trouble with..
Thanks to anybody who accepts this challenge :)
Regards
Paul

I have placed the clips onto my server at http://www.hadrill.co.uk/ennio
Please be aware that they are EXTREMELY distorted and are presumably "incidental music" from whatever score they are from.
Thank you very much for your offer of help...

ok by my guess, tracks 1,2,12 & 13 = 5 man army
track 4 = the good the bad & the ugly
track 5 = once upon a time in the west
track 6 = for a few dollars more
Possibles track 3 = 5 man army
possible from 7 to 11 = Navajoe
Most of these are available from good stockists or even rent the movies, but it sounds like the clips are from the mid 60's to VERY early 70's Italian westerns.
Good luck with the project.
