Sndtrks CD's thought I'ld share

Hi all,

New to this cool site and noticed some soundtrack cd's are not
mentioned in the database. Thought I'ld add, if anyone's
interested.

Most of what I've got are rare 60's and 70's compilations making
single titles hard to locate individualy on music cd site searches.

1. Themes by Hollywood's Great Composers: AK 47019
Copyright 1991 Sony Music Special Products-This is a gem of
rare 60's original soundtracks including- Dutchman (John Barry),
The Prize and Great Train Robbery (Jerry Goldsmith), Billion
Dollar Brain (Richard Bennett), Hang 'Em High (Dominic
Frontiere), To Kill A Mockingbird (Elmer Bernstein) among the 14
tracks.

2. Fox Classics-Original Soundtrack -The Mephisto Waltz (1971)
and The Other(1972)-Jerry Goldsmith- VSD-5851 Varese
Sarabande copyright 1997. I got this cd mainly for "The Other" a
movie I saw in its first theatre release that's stuck in my head for
its cool plot and haunting theme.

3. Mancini Goes To The Movies-ND 75067 BMG Records (UK)
Ltd. 1991, Made in Germany. There are two rare tracks on this
compilation-the Ryan O'Neal '70's flick The Thief Who Came To
Dinner and the Warren Beatty film Heaven Can Wait. The other
12 tracks are Mancini's swarmy, lushy chorus laden romance
stuff such as Windmills of Your Mind.

I've been looking for the soundtracks for Peter Sellers' "Being
There" and "Murder On The Orient Express", "Parallax View", "All
the Presidents' Men" and "Star Chamber". Any help would be
appreciated.

murder on the orient express is available from www.screenarchives.com
I have used them many times, never a problem & highly recommended, I think it's $16. If you get it, please post a review or contact me direct to let me know how it sounds as I still have my old LP & have not got the cd yet.

Thanks, ajbjmdb and open for business,

I was wondering where to add to the database. I've been waiting
for a website like this for long time. I'm a soundtrack junky, but
very selective.

Any of you heard of a compilation album titled "Ten Golden
Years", a collection of 1960's soundtracks that included such
titles as Topkapi, Never On Sunday, In The Heat Of The Night
and The Big Country among others?
