All that I could find is that it will be released on Feb. 10. I am guessing that it will be the "Special Edition" re-release that came out last year packaged with the "Return to Pride Rock" disc. I hope there will not be anything new on it because I already have the original releases of both plus the "Special Edition" disc.

Also, the soundtrack for "The Lion King 1 1/2" will be released on Feb. 3.

The Lion King 2004 (2CD) is due in February and will include CD1 The Lion King (14 tracks) + CD2 Rhythm of the Pride Lands (12 tracks).

When "The Lion King Special Edition" soundtrack was released last year, there was a version that was exclusive to Target stores that had The Lion King (14 tracks) + Rhythm of the Pride Lands (12 tracks), just as rocambole posted. It has not been added to the database yet, but should be soon as I added the information about a week after the release. It seems that Disney is just giving this more of a general release in February to tie-in with "The Lion King 1 1/2" (I believe it's known as "The Lion King 3" outside the U.S.).
