Deep Blue
Hi, does someone know if there will be an official release of the soundtrack for the BBC documentary "Deep Blue" from George Fenton? Couldn“t find a clue on the web.
Thanks for your help.

No, I mean "Deep Blue". The movie is in the cinemas for about a week now. George Fenton conducted the music with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra.

I think it is the same music. All i heard of "Deep Blue" sounds like "The Blue Planet" (didn't see the film, only pieces of it on tv). "Deep Blue" is also a cut of the BBC series "The Blue Planet". But if there will be a soundtrack of "Deep Blue" i want it to know for myself :-)
Greetings

The music for Deep Blue was specially recorded for the film, with George Fenton conducting the Berlin Philharmonic. It uses themes taken from the original "Blue Planet" TV series, but the composition was all re-worked for the film. The music was recorded in Berlin and mastered at Abbey Road. The film was mixed at Films at 59 in Bristol, and mastered at De Lane Lea in London.
As to the possibility of a soundtrack release, you should contact either BBC Worldwide or Greenlight Media, as they are handling the commercial distribution of the film.
