Need Help on rare Fellini/Rota CAM LP

Hi! I know this LP exists but have not been able to find it
anywhere. I had bought it used in '86 or '87; iit was subsequently
lost or stolen. It's on CAM--music of Fellini written by Rota. The
title is something like: "Rota Plays Rota," or "Rota Conducts
Rota." The thing is, these weren't tracks from the original
orchestral scores--these were jazzy, intimate, small-group
versions of his "greatest hits." The cover was silver, with the
famous drawing (by Fellini, right?) of Rota at the piano taking up
most of the cover space. I would love to find out any information
about this LP--the catalogue # and year, the official title etc. I
e-mailed CAM last year and even THEY said they didn't know
what I was talking about. But I had owned this LP for
years--someone out there MUST know what I'm talking about. I
would love to get a copy somehow, anyhow. Can anybody help
me in any way?
Much thanks...

Hi Rob,
The album you're thinking about is ROTA tutti i film di FELLINI, CAM 9053 (1973). It's the one with the silver cover and the drawing of Rota by Fellini. Unless I'm mistaken, this album has suites and themes from all of the films he scored for Fellini, as the title suggests.
There is another album, a live one, recorded in Japan, CONCERTO DI MUSICHE DA FILM NINO ROTA on the CAM label ZNLA 33040. This was recorded with the NEW JAPAN PHILHARMONIC (1977). Side two consists of a suite entitled "Felliniana", side one has his themes from Napoli Milionaria, War and Peace, Rocco and his Brothers, Romeo and Juliette, The Godfather I & II.
I hope I haven't confused you.
And good luck finding them.
