I've always thought that there are great parts in "The Final Game" cue of Jerry Goldsmith's score for "Rudy" that would be good for that. The cue moves from being very powerful, energetic, soaring, to calming/serene.

Good luck in your search!

Great Skate's Response to skating music??

Great Skate Music Editing, at GreatSkate102@aol.com has a list of over 250 already cut music programs at the 1:00,1:30,& 2:00 lengths. Although this is not what you are looking for, we can email the list, and, if anything looks interesting to you as source material, we can send those programs to you as email attachments, for listening. If you find anything of interest, we can take it from there. Sincerely, Great Skate

You can contact Cutting Edge Music. It is run by a competitive skater who is a talented musician. They have music for all skating levels; and at reasonable rates.

You can reach them at

I know that this thread has been around for a while but I found it so someone else might too.

Regarding skaing music, check out:

I've had good experiences with them and they prefer to work with coaches.

There is a new version of "The Prayer" by David Foster. It is a choral arrangement which is stunning. It has great sweeping movements and would lend itself beautifully to figure skating, especially pairs. I know choral music is not usually heard in figure skating but this would be an extraordinary piece. It is on the soundtrack "Heavensong" by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and features the "hitman" David Foster himself on the piano.
