Can someone tell me if the quality of the promo CD is any good? There have been a few on eBay lately and there's one on there now but is it really worth the money?

I can't see why it wouldn't be any good. I've had my copy for years now and I have never been disappointed with it at all.
Obviously it all depends on how much you are willing to pay for it.

Two of the Tracks are a little disturbed, but it`s worth the money 100%.

The whole Track Nr.4 could be much better, but the heck there is no better... ;)
