I never heard Lalo say anything about not wanting it released. From what I understand, there was never an Amityville II score. Part 2 used the Amityville score from Part 1. It was remix and edited to fit the film. I've read this in articles. I think one of the articles came from Fangoria magazine. I think I seen it in an Lalo Schifrin interview too.
