The CD would probably not have sold for nearly so much money if one or more of the bidders hadn't needlessly engaged in a "bidding war" throughout the duration of the auction.

Not that you were one of the offenders, because I don't know what your eBay ID is, but seriously, when are people going to learn how to bid on auctions?

I've found that the most successful method of bidding on eBay auctions is to place a minimum bid at the beginning or middle of the auction (or even better, don't place a bid but instead add the item in your "watch list"), and then just before the auction ends (within seconds if possible), place a bid for the maximum amount that you are willing to pay for the item.

This action will take other bidders by surprise and (hopefully) won't give them enough time to outbid you. You see, if they outbid your first bid, and then you turn around and outbid them, and then they turn around and outbid you, you both go back and forth until the price goes through the roof. Not too smart if you're on a budget.

well, I finally got this cd... the audio is horrible. It is nice to have, but I wish it was better. The first song is ok, but the second is awful.
