Jack Nitzsche "Mermaids" score
Does anyone have the wonderful score from the 1990 film "Mermaids" by Jack Nitzsche? The soundtrack album has NONE of his music on it.

You're right. The CD soundtrack as none of the instrumental part of the movie...
Also looking for the tracks. If someone could help !
Thanks a lot.

Edited:
My YouTube channel was deleted... It was just a 5-minute clipping of musical
fragments of the score from the film itself. I don't have the original score.
For some reason, I could not log into my profile for a long time ...
I will be (and obviously I'm not the only one) very grateful if someone suddenly
finds a score or at least some information regarding this!
A man named 'Sebmesnard' wrote that he had this score. But for some reason,
he could not prove or disprove this... Sir, maybe you were just joking? :) Please
respond. Or at least provide the tracklist of your album. I (and we all) are madly
wondering if there really is a disk with the score?
I'm ready to sell my soul for this score!!!)))

Hi. Does anyone have this wonderful score please? ????

This beatiful score has never been officially released.
When I first saw Mermaids, I was simply fascinated by the music that the now
calm Jack Nitzsche composed, and since then I have been “obsessed with it”!
Anyone who claims to have this may be confusing it with a soundtrack-album that
only contains SONGS.
Some time ago I asked independent labels about this score, but they don’t seem
to be very interested in it ... So shameful ... It is profitable for them to re-release
composers LIKE John Williams 100 TIMES, than to deal with music that has never
been released.
It is important to consider the fact that this is an electronic score. Orchestral
scores are, unfortunately (to me) more in demand than electronic scores, so a
label that wants to deal with a release will take that into account.
These things are usually sold in limited editions. If, for example, there are at least
500-1000 buyers for this score, the label may consider releasing this score on
CD.
But this is only one of the factors that are taken into account ...
I would like not to lose hope that someday it will be on CD, but if we have time to
wait so long? ... We are more likely to be lucky to find some bootleg disk with this
music score on the Internet than to wait forever for a release.
If I have any information about this score, I will definitely write.

Oh, I forgot to mention one more thing...
This film (including everything related to it) is owned by MGM. In the past, many
labels have had little trouble getting the rights to the music and access to the MGM
vault where the original recordings are kept.
So there shouldn't be any legal issues... except that the original recordings might be
lost. This is the worst thing in this business. But you won't know until you check it
out, but as I've written before, the labels probably don't care about that bill, which
is why we still have not seen the release of this score.

I know it’s late, but thanks for your response. That’s all pretty
interesting, but I don’t want to lose hope either. I’ll be sure to make
a post too if I should ever find it myself by some miracle

Ok, thanks you too!
