Question

Un chien andalou

I was wondering what all of the pieces in "Un chien andalou" were called and who composed them. Thanks.

For all I know it's bits of Richard Wagner's music from "Tristan & Isolde" and some old tango from Argentina. You'll probably never find the tango music. But Wagner's work is in all classical music sections of all good records stores.

It is in fact Wagner from Tristan and Isolde and the name of the specific piece you may be interested in is titled "leibestod"

i am a music supervisor for films and have spent the past 2 hours trying to find the other tango piece he fits in.
if i come across it i will post a message

The tango is the famous "Ole Guapa", a traditional tango that has been recorded numerous times by different artists.

The Wagner pieces are from his Opera "Tristan und Isolde": "Vorspiel" and "Liebestod"
