Intrada inquiries
I asked Intrada the same question twice within the past two months but didn't receive an answer (see "The Tower / The Core" thread). I'm not sure whether they ignore my question or if they really are so busy it generally takes them so long to answer inquiries. What are your experiences with sending inquiries to Intrada?

While I generally deal with SAE for my Intrada releases, I have emailed them on a few occasions over the past 5 years and have always gotten a response from them.

I was curious about this after reading your original post, so I asked about it the other day; It was said that THE CORE "promos" were sent with THE TOWER to other retailers/resellers. As mentioned in the other thread people who did not order from Intrada still got THE CORE.
Since you did not mention WHERE or WHOM you bought it from, I could not ask speficically about "your" situation - nor would I really want to. As I said, I was curious about your question myself. Now I am curious about something else...
Why should one retailer/reseller be responsible for another retailer/reseller? -- If the same retailer/reseller (the one you purchased THE TOWER from) was selling the "Varese Club" GOLDSMITH AT FOX Box set and that same retailer/reseller said, "Sorry we're out of the GOLDSMITH AT FOX Box set" would anybody be writing Varese asking them why this other retailer/reseller ran out? Would any other retailer/reseller reply to inquires about an order placed with another retailer/reseller?
I run a small Christopher Young CD website and was asked many many times, about "how do I get THE CORE?" After replying to so many inquires, I just stopped answering them. I thought, why do I have to answer these questions, I am not selling them, I am not giving them away. I will assume that Intrada was bombarded with Emails regarding THE CORE after it was discovered it came with THE TOWER. It generated postings on probably every single soundtrack forum on the internet! I wonder how many Emails that must have generated for them?!?
If Intrada were to release another Christopher Young CD, would everyone expect another free CD to arrive with their order? :) :) Would there be complaints that there was not a free CD this time? :) :)

Thanks for your answers.
But the “GOLDSMITH AT FOX Box Set” example is beside the point. If the retailer had run out of “The Tower” so they couldn't send it to me anymore I wouldn’t have asked them nor Intrada why they ran out. I also didn’t ask Intrada where to get “The Core” (I fully understand them ignoring inquiries about that. But they surely get less inquiries about whether they made exceptions when sending "The Core" out). I received “The Tower” without “The Core” and as the retailer said “Intrada didn’t send "The Core" with it – probably because we’re a retailer” what else should I have done than asking Intrada whether they sent “The Core” to retailers or not? I just want to know whether I was cheated by the retailer or if Intrada had certain reasons not to send “The Core” in certain cases (e. g. not to foreign retailers or not to retailers at all or whatever…) Wouldn’t you have searched for an answer as well? I didn’t name the seller in this forum not to decry him since after all I still don’t know if it’s actually his fault (and I don’t think I decried Intrada).
It also didn’t become clear in the other thread since two people bought “The Tower” from the same seller and only one of them also received “The Core”.
Since “The Core” wasn’t officially announced Intrada should have known that difficulties would occur like sellers keeping “The Core” for themselves and customers not knowing what actually happened. So Intrada shouldn’t be surprised by inquiries about that.

You are right, klopijtz.
I was one of those buyers that purchased "The tower" and didn't receive "The core". I ordered it to Screen Archives Entertainment because the item was sold out at Intrada.
My question now is: if there was one "The core" CD for each "The tower" CD (1000 CDs of each title were pressed), where is the CD of "The core" I was supposed to receive along with "The tower"?.
The answer is clear: someone (I don't know who) has sold it apart. In some way I've been cheated.

How funny. Just wrote them yesterday regarding the Young Sherlock Holmes CD they did. They got back to me today with info.
