I just sent an email to you. To repeat, I created my own soundtrack, which the music is excellent, and have no idea why Columbia Pictures never released a soundtrack (as far as I know, they did not release one). I wrote down the song titles and artists (which you can find at the end of the movie during the END TITLES), and found most or all from the library, and created my own Compact disc of the soundtrack! I still am missing about 11 or so songs; total amount of songs: 23 songs. Try this for the time being. Otherwise, maybe we can write to Columbia Pictures, and inquire. I LOVE THE MUSIC AND LOVE THE MOVIE (saw 3 times in the movie theater, and own the film on laserdisc and DVD!). Maybe this will help you, in a way. IF and WHEN you do ever locate a soundtrack, tell me! (I also am searching for a soundtrack for "CANNONBALL RUN"; I basically did the same thing; but only located 3 songs! Studios put out soundtracks to crappy films, and the music sometimes stinks, but these 2 soundtracks are great, and the studios did not! Go figure!) I'm sure part of the reason that the soundtrack was never released was because graceland did not want their songs released on an album. The only reason Elvis' music was released on lilo and stitch was because they thought their music could inspire new listeners.
