Question

"Godzilla/Rodan" track list?

can anyone who has this Akira Ifukube cd (Futureland TYCY-10047) provide the track titles and which belong to which movie?
Is it a good compilation, or not enough of each to enjoy? That is, do I need to get the separate cd releases of each movie?
Thanks for any help.

thanks! I'd been to the site before but didn't see Godzilla/Rodan, but now I found it. It looks like the main difference is the FX & unused cues added to the separate releases. For me the only "critical" difference is LaLa land's release of "Godzilla 50th Anniversary" deosn't have a baby crying during one track. Are there more dialogue+music tracks on the earlier "Godzilla" version? That is, is it worth getting the soundtracks separately to avoid getting the baby-crying?

I haven't heard the earlier Godzilla-only release, but I personally approve of the inclusion of the sound effects of the baby crying in the "Godzilla/Rodan" CD because it stirs within me a mixture of sympathy and horror that makes the music even creepier and more disturbing than it already is. On a different note (no pun intended), you can hear the conductor (Ifukube himself?) voicing instructions to the orchestra at the beginning of a couple of the tracks on the "Godzilla/Rodan" CD. That doesn't bother me either. In fact, I actually think it's pretty interesting in terms of the historical significance of the recording.
