MIKLOS ROZSA MUSIC SUBSTITUTED

Miklos Rozsa won the Academy Award, up against himself for the score to Lost Weekend, in 1945 for his stirring music for Alfred Hitchock's Spellbound. For the past 30 years, on every VHS, DVD, television airing, the music he scored for the Ski Run scene has been replaced, by music NOT written by Rozsa. Both Ebert and Maltin have no clue as to why the original music has been replaced in just this one scene.
Any ideas?
