KRULL COMPLETE SOUNDTRACK
I just lost a bidding on the complete score to KRULL; it went for over $250. YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!!! I cannot believe it is worth that much! I have seen many of them go for less than $50 on e-bay! Are some people fanatics or what to bid that high on a soundtrack, let alone any CD??!!

Crazy alright!!!. I'm glad I got mine from moviemusic.com for $40 about a month ago.

It's on the Super Tracks label and since Super Collector went belly-up a few months ago, all their stuff is now officially "out of print". So, high prices will be paid.
I got mine years ago though for $40. :)

I must say, it's difficult being a collector for the sake of the music rather than the sake of collectability and not being able to obtain certain soundtracks because of their high prices.
I'd love to get a hold of Predator, just cause I've always liked it....and I'd love to listen to Krull just to see if I remember liking it! But I can't get either without paying serious jack.

I have to agree with picnictodd. I'm not interested in the collectability of a soundtrack as much as I am the quality of the music. Vibes is going for I think $149 right now on ebay. Great soundtrack, but not necessarily Horner's best.

That's tragic that supertracks is gone out of business. Flight of the navigator and Big trouble in little china are going for equally ridiculous prices on ebay!

Check with Gerry over at Soundtrackers, at:

Just got my copy of Krull new and sealed from him for $55. He is great at getting hard to find CDs and sells them at great prices. Hell, he can sell Varese CDs new and sealed for less than what Varese's own site lists them for... :D
AFAIK, there isn't an actual offine or online store, it's all done through email. But, can testify that he offers some great deals. Took me awhile before I made the decision to take the plunge and order from him, now I do so at least 1-2 a month to every other month.
Anyway, he has a list he sends out by email, my recommendation is to email him and ask to be added. You can also email him and ask if he has something in stock. That's what I did the other month and got both Krull and Wind as a result.
All in all, two thumbs up! ;)

So why don't you just dupe this stuff and pass it around? It will piss off the bootleggers, but make the scorefans so happy.

Well, that's not needed since you can still buy the majority of Super Tracks CDs through Ebay directly from them. Some go for high, the most don't. Just got Flight of the Navigator from them for $20, and will be going back to get Big Trouble in Little China any day now...
