King Kong Pt 2
I had previously asked a question about which version of KK was the best one to buy. Ihave now discovered that the Rhino release has a "complete “radio-style” condensation of the film, complete with dialog, sound effects and score" which has automatically turned me off getting this version.
Does the Marco Polo version have “radio-style condensation of the film" as well or is it just musical score only?

The Marco Polo re-recording is a wonderful recreation of the entire (I think) orchestral score.

I just picked up another version of the score. It is a CD of the 1976 Fred Steiner re-recording and it is fabulous. I snapped it up still shrinkwrapped for only $12. It's on Southern Cross CDs.
I recommend this one as well.
