Big trouble in little china
I've been looking at the soundtrack for John Carpenter's "Big Trouble In Little China" and it's listed here as a bootleg. I thought it was released as a promo by the super tracks label, by it's not listed. Can anyone please help.

It's been released twice in the U.S.. Once on Enigma (legit release) and once by Supercollector (again, a legit release with Alan Howarth).

A bootleg? Right now I hold the CD in my hands, it's no bootleg, it's no promo. I bought it when it was officially released in the late 80's by Enigma records (I think this label was into glam punk rock kind of crap.) This album is not easy to find. But there is a recent promo with a few minutes of music added (plus a track from Escape From NY.)

I don't know of a bootleg of this release, there's no need for it anyway since the cd was released on 2 different occasions; the first time by Enigma and Demon Records and 'recently' reissued by Super Tracks with lots of previously unreleased material . It's a classic 80's score and a must for all JOHN CARPENTER fans. Occasionally pops up on ebay. Good luck James and Kelly.

Its now SUPER RARE on the Original 1986 Enigma Compact Disc, (Only issued in a VERY small quantity in 1986!) - But they HAVE one listed here: (near bottom of page...):
