Willard
Can someone tell me who has this soundtrack to the Crispin Glover movie. I know it came out with one and it seems that it has now disappeared! It can't be out of print and hard to find now! It's to early?

Personally I would avoid the remake like the plague and go with the original scored by Alex North.

I have the remake on dvd and enjoyed the movie and music.
I don't think it's terrible or a bomb.
You just don't understand it like I do.

Perhaps it does require a profound intellect to understand the remake of "Willard" in such a way that someone like myself might be incapable of.
Hell, I can't even scratch my own ass half the time!
Still, I would suggest the remake be avoided like a cancerous plague.

That's your opinion. I like the movie otherwise I would'nt have the dvd and be looking for the cd, so let's leave it at that.

I'm glad you like the film!
The Alex North scored original is much better as far as I'm concerned.
Check out the original sometime, you may also enjoy it!
Chill out! Merely a difference of opinion!

Shirley Walker is a composer of great talent. I think she's under estimated. Maybe cause she's one of the very few women working in film music. The cool Willard soundtrack should be officially released (by Varese or by La-La-Land.) And we should send her E-Mails (at rkeaveney@filmmusic.com)

I would rather see a release of the Alex North score from the 1971 original directed by Daniel Mann (Come Back Little Sheba/The Rose Tattoo).
The re-make I wouldn't waste two hours of my life on (Ten minutes was enough for me).
