I don't know of any film score release from the movie "What ever happened to baby Jane", But if you are looking for a vocal rendition of the song "I'm writing a letter to daddy" only, Then go to amazon and there is a cd called Miss Bette Davis that has her singing that song on it,also has other tracks like "Hush, Hush, sweet Charlot" ect....

There was a single released on MGM records from the film "I've Written a Letter to Daddy" by Debbie Burton (who dubbed it in the film when Jane was a little girl) backed with Bette Davis and Debbie Burton singing a rock and roll (twist) version of "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?" recorded in 1962. Look up the film on this website and it will give you more details about this recording. I own an autographed (by Bette Davis) copy. It's one of my prized possessions!

Did you ever locate a copy of "I'm writing..."?? I've got the Debbie Burton/Bette Davis version on an MGM 45 from the Baby Jane movie soundtrack. Let me know if you're still looking.

This was included on the DRG CD "Hollywood's Golden Era: All Singing! from the late 80's.
