There is no CD-release for this score. I have the original LP and restored it on CD-R.

I own the album of this soundtrack (as does the other person who contributed an answer), and copies it onto a CD also. I also have soundtrack to PART 2 also, on LP album (vinyl record). It amazes me how studios do not put out soundtracks for movies with great musical soundtracks, yet other films with crappy tracks, are pushed out there and created! These 2 films, PLUS "cannonball Run" and "Fools rush In" deserve soundtracks (soundtrack attention). We should all start corresponding to these studios to complain! -Paul paulmarthinessen@hotmail.com

Paul has hit the nail on the head when asking why the music companies in their infinate wisdom do not release these great movie soundtracks on CD. I'd buy them, he'd buy them, you guys would obviously buy them and a lot more people out there would do the same i'm sure.
The only thing i can suggest is to try and download the tracks from an internet site (a legal one of course) i went onto one i think called mp3 downloading - which i paid a fee for. It doesn't have every track from the film on but the main themes/songs are there like east/west bound and down and the bandit. There were also a lot more songs/tunes from other films.
If you do download though ensure you get some spyware and antivirus filter programmes first. Microsoft send them out for free.
