Point Of No Return-H.Zimmer-Distorted Sound?

Hi,
i just bought a used CD of 'Point Of No Return' from Hans Zimmer.
Especially Track 2 has some really distorted spots. There are no visible
scratches on the surface. Grabbing in the PC gives no error messages.
Here is a short clip of 25 seconds, starting at 2:29 minutes:

Can somebody please confirm if this is normal?
Or should i buy a new one?

Thanks!
Sven Wolf.

I can't hear any distortion at all in your sound clip.

Hi Riccardo,
what a shame! At least i don't have to buy another copy :-(
Maybe we should look for a complete B**tleg.

@catfellah
Here is another clip i compiled from track2:

Don't you notice the rough and 'grainy' sound?
The other three Zimmer-tracks seem to be ok.

Hello again! Er ... no ... I'm embarrassed to say I still can't hear anything, and
I'm usually VERY sensitive to the slightest glitch in recordings. But I'm only
listening on small headphones, maybe I'd hear the problem better over my
hi-fi system. I'll give the CD a spin later on.
