Robin and Marian question

I have a copy of John Barry's score to "Robin and Marian" on Sherwood records numbered SH-1500. I was wondering if anyone knows for sure if this is a legitimate release or not. It isn't listed as a bootleg here at STC, but there is no copyright info or anything else on the label so it makes me kind of doubt its authenticity. Any info would be helpful.

This CD was mastered/copied from the isolated tracks of the Pioneer Laser Disc. It is not "legitimate".

Sorry. I was referring to the LP.

Neither the album or the cd are legit. Just be thankful you have it and don't worry about it.

If I am right, the only official release of the ORIGINAL recordings are the two tracks "John Bursts In" and "The End" on the CD Music From The Films Of Audrey Hepburn.

There was a promotional album issued in 1976 numbered PRO-4345 which contained a color brochure with stills from the film. The sound is superior to the Sherwood release that was issued in 1980. I have the brochure.

The Sherwood SH-1500 was a bootleg. The PRO-4345 was a promotional release. BOTH Lps were pressed in MONO ONLY! Neither one tracks in stereo. (Go figure!)
