Pulp's original Godzilla (1998) song

The producers of U.S. Godzilla remake of 1998 originally aproached pop/rock act Pulp for doing the theme song. What I've heard they recorded it, but eventualy the film company didn't like it's lyrics (which handled Godzilla as a mindless beast of ultimate destruction, which he is) and dumped it - resulting the Puff Daddy/Jimmy Page Zeppelin-heresy to become the hit single of the album.

My question is: Was Pulp's original song EVER released ANYWHERE (as a single B-side, compilation extra track etc.)? I kinda hoped to see it on the new Japanese 2004 release of the album, but no...
