Movie, A Perfect World, tune name
I watched a TV movie A Perfect World on Sunday. At a farm house scene a 78 record was played. It had a vocal over the melody which was hard to hear, but the musical instrument was a bagpipe. At the credits, end of movie, the musical selection was the same pipe tune. I waited for the credits to show who was playing but it stopped at the end of the major characters.
Haveing been a Piper for over thirty years I have heard the tune or have played it. I can't remember the name of the tune. Its driving me crazy. Could someone get the name of the tunes, both the vocal and medody,and let me know. I tried the internet for over three hours and its not listed any where. None of the tunes listed for the movie list the tune.

is this the Clint Eastwood/Kevin Costner movie?
if so the track is called, BIG FRANS BABY, composed by Eastwood & conducted & produced by Lennie Niehaus.
Its track 12 on the cd, Reprise 9 45516-2

You can Google "Big Fran's Baby" and go to 'ClintEastwood.net' Click on "A Perfect World" and it will bring up Real Player Soundtracks of both the Record music and the Closing Credits Medley. Carlton I would sure like to hear your rendition on the Pipes. kmorgan2@stx.rr.com
