Hi,
The original score by composer Paul J. Smith is available on a bootleg CD. Just keep searching Ebay - it comes up about once a month. Also - if there are any movie conventions by you, do go & check there. I went to the Hollywood Collector's Convention in Burbank, California and I see the CD all the time. One thing you should know: this CD is actually a copy of the real CD version that Disney almost released several years ago. At the last second, Disney's legal people pulled out of the deal because of the extra costs of dealing with the screen musicians' union. BUT - this being a CD... every copy of a CD is EXACTLY AS GOOD AS THE ORIGINAL. In other words, because it is a Digital Copy - these bootlegs have the same sound quality as a digital master. I have one of these and can tell you that the sound is stunningly good. Also, that it is missing about 15 minutes of music cues. Paul Smith composed well over an hour's worth of music for the film. So - 3 ways to get the CD: keep checking Ebay, search movie conventions. And the third and easiest way - join one of the "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" web groups - http://movies.groups.yahoo.com/group/DISNEYS_20-000_Leagues/ This one is huge and has over 360 members. It's free to become a member, and once you're in - just send a message to the membership that you are looking for this CD. You'll get quite a few responses and I wouldn't be surprised if you had a CD inside of a month.
