7th Voyage Of Sinbad: Soundtrack Library CD-62

Can anyone tell me the source of the tracks on this cd? Are they copied from other releases, ripped from the DVD or ???

Is any of the music on this cd unavailable on other official releases?

I think that this version is from a variety of sources, pretty much as you list there. There's definitely an issue with varying sound levels within tracks that suggests some sort of DVD rip.

As I understand it, this release is a more complete version compared to, for example the Varese re-recording (not featured on this Soundtrack Library release.)

Dialog mixed in with the music?

More questions I should have asked the first time:

Is dialog mixed in with the music as if the tracks were copied directly from the film? And are the tracks stereo or mono or mixture?

Thanks for the previous reply.

There is no dialog on the archival CD. The score is a mixture from both stereo and mono but stereo holds the majority. Some cues are noisy but still able to listen to.

I just don't know exactly whether it's a mixture of the original score conducted by Herrmann itself with some cues which were conduted by John Debney.
But the whole thing sounds good to me. :)

It wasn't taken from a DVD because it wasn't on DVD when the CD was released. The LD was available with an isolated track (Pioneer Special Edition) but IIRC they did not sound the same.
