SOUNDTRACKS FOR SALE ON EBAY

Hi,

I don't know if this is the place to mention it but I am selling some soundtracks on ebay.

The first sale is a LOT of 74 soundtracks, the next is 'The Omega Man', the next is 'KRULL' the complete 2 Disc set and the last is 'CLASH OF THE TITANS' the expanded score.

I hope that this is of interest to some people.

Thanks

George

I hate auctions with RESERVE PRICE. But good luck.

BTW, tomorrow is a "5-cent insertion2 day", in UK. So you came 1 day early.

D'oh!

Ah well!

I have placed soundtracks on eBay before without a reserve and then been tied into selling them for ridiculously low prices and when it's a bog standard new release that's not such a problem - but I'd hate to end up selling 'The Omega Man' for £3 or something insane like that. Probably very unlikely though but you never know!

So, I've put reserves on them so I don't end up giving them away!

Hi George,
Don't worry about using reserves. People typically won't bid at all if the starting price is too high, even though an auction starting at a low opening bid may end up going for much more. It's a psychological factor. Everyone likes a bargain. Nobody wants to pay far more than something is worth, but seeing other people bid is an indication of value. As you say, reserves are the only way to get bidding started without committing yourself to giving something away if you have the bad luck to run an auction one week when the buyers aren't looking.

It would help us out if you would post a link to the auction here.
