Question

Anybody know where I might be able to get a copy of this one? Composed by Dmitri Tiomkin. I actually heard of this from the inside jacket introduction to "Jaws" by Steven Spielberg and wanted to see if anybody knew anything about it.

It was released on CD by Varese Sarabande, but has been deleted for quite a few years now. It does turn up on EBay. The last copy went for about $80. I have heard that the original tapes don't exist anymore, so it was just a staright re-issue from the LP.

Just a small correction - to my knowledge, the last one went on eBay for "just" $41 yesterday:

It's a real pity the complete score never made it to some "deluxe edition".
