Ear Worms!

Here's a weird question, just for fun...
You know what an "ear worm" is. The ear worm is a melody that you can't get out of your mind. You whistle it in the shower, on the streets, anywhere, anytime. You may love this melody or hate it, it's juste THERE. My question : What are your own ear worms.
This morning, I woke up singing (in my head) the main theme from Goldsmith's "Link" (Jesus! I don't even have the CD!)

There are several:

For many, many years: Charade (Mancini). Magnificent Seven (Bernstein), OHMSS (Barry); and whenever I play the score to Pal Joey: "I could write a book" (Rodgers & Hart) - this is one melody that you cannot get out of your mind!

Delerue's "Steel Magnolias" is one of those meodies that come to my mind once and again without warning, not to mention Williams' "Schindler's List" or Goldsmith's The Gremlin rag from "Gremlins". Another melody that I can't take away from my head when it arrives is the main title from Michael J. Lewis' "Theatre of Blood".

A big fat worm that keeps crawling into my head : The theme from "Beverly Hills cop." I never saw the movie and the music just reminds me of my dull teenage years. I must be sick. I need to see a doctor! I need an exorcism!

When I'm feeling sad, the "Clouseau" theme from "The Pink Panther Strikes Back" comes to my mind. It makes my smile at my poor self and I feel better instantly... Another Mancini's magic tricks...

The funniest was for my wife. I took her to see Robocop, and she claimed she hated the movies, but when I played the CD later, she kept humming the main theme!

No doubt; "Imperial March" by John Williams. Definedly.

I had it as a mobile ringtone, but always when walkin around the town with my phnone ringing I forgot to answer. Instead I was just wondering "why is it playing in my head again?". :)

I have two but my worms always remain nameless. In other words i know the tune real well but don't know what they're called. My worms never have lyrics either for some reason.
The first is a tune from robocop when robo walks down some stairs in a nightclub to lock up one of clarence boddickers crew. The music is actually playing in the club at the time and is spot on. Well i think so anyway.
The second is on beverley hills cop when Axel is walking around inside a warehouse with that fit bird who works in victor matlands art gallery. He discovers loads of coke packed in coffee grounds. Just before, during and after this "coke discovery" this tune is playing. Man what a worm. Its been in my head ever since the movie came out.
Its a shame that my worms always wriggle out've these soundtracks and the end of movie credits.
If anyone disagrees with me re my worms i'll have them outside with their five hardest mates. However if we're already outside when you see me we'll have to go inside. Just make sure you take off your shoes cause i've had a new carpet.

Often a score which I select to listen to while having a breakfast keeps on playing in my mind for the rest of the day. Today it was André Hossein's J'AI TUÉ RASPOUTINE.

Some themes which return occasionally regardless if I've heard them recently or not are:
Hannah La Rousse and Slimane Et Les Maramouches from LES AVENTURES DE RABBI JACOB
Mr Kiss Kiss Bang Bang from THUNDERBALL
Let's Pretend Love from IRMA LA DOUCE
main theme from I FRATELLI CORSI by Angelo Francesco Lavagnino (I wish someone released this score !)

and many, many tunes by Henry Mancini, like "So Neat", "Loose Caboose", "Just For Tonight", "A Quiet Happening" ...

so, are ear worms able to hurt you?

don't really know, but i surely know that burt bacharach's theme of casino royale really belongs to the 'family' of ear worms, as well as his raindrops keep fallin' on my head of butch cassidy and the sundance kid. then sometimes its one of the (main) titles of (mostly john barry's) bond movies, as well as gene kelly's singin' in the rain tune. finally, and i really love this one (still gettin gooseflesh while listenin to) is alfred newman's fanfare of 20th century fox (which of course belongs to many more than only one score).
