Once Upon A Time In America - E. Morricone

If you are familiar with the film, I am trying to figure out what the music is that plays as a young Noodles (DiNero) watches a young Jennifer Connelly's charecter dance in her fathers restaurant. It's a beautiful 1920's piece, but not included on any soundtrack that I am aware of. I love the music from this era and would love to get it if possible.

At a guess: is it not the tune "Amapola" which features on the official OST?

I haven't watched the movie for many years (the DVD is still on the shelf, sealed, waiting for the right occasion ...) but I thought this was the tune EM uses.

If my memory serves me right Mitch is indeed rgiht, the song playing on the turntable in that particular voyeur scene is indeed Amapola.

It's Amapola alright, but the beautiful version we hear in the movie is not the same one that's
in the soundtrack.... Any idea who does the movie version?
