For Trade: Goyokiba/Kozure Ookami OST
Hi! I have for trade an original Japanese King Records "Goyokiba/Kozure Ookami" CD. This CD is part of their "Soundtrack Renaissance Series" that came out in 1998-1999. This CD is in about EX- shape and comes with mint inserts and obi. A little background on this CD. As most of you probably know this CD has the same "Lone Wolf and Cub" tracks as the La-La Land release, although this King release preceeds it by about 6 years. However, the King release has approximately 24 minutes of music from the three "Goyokiba" films starring Shintaro "Zatoichi" Katsu. These films are also known as the "Hanzo the Blade" and "The Razor" series. These films have to be seen to believed! Thomas Weisser in his book "Japanese Cinema" described the films this way: "This series is easily the most outrageous of all the chambara (Samurai genre). Shintaro Katsu plays Hanzo "Blade" Itami, a master detective living during the Edo period who has a most peculiar way of interrogating his female subjects. He tortures them with his penis. Yes, Hanzo has been working-out for years and his male member is as strong as...well, as strong as a blade..." The music, in stark contrast to the "Lone Wolf and Cub" tracks on this disc, have more of a laidback, 70's style to them making them more akin to Shaft than the Seven Samurai. It also has a 70's style rock track by the Japanese band "The Mops". This is a very hard to find release and was hard for me to find even two years after its actual release in 1998. Some CD's I'm looking for: Predator Varese Club, Meet the Feebles, The H-Man (on SLC label), Best of Jean Rollin on Lucertola, Solamente Nero on Lucertola. Thanks for looking!

I might be willing to trade my original copy of "Meet the Feebles" for this disc that you are offering. I'll have to give it another listen tonight and see whether or not I'm willing to part with it (it's been awhile since I've heard it since I have so many darn CDs). I'll keep in touch.
