Will They Ever Release Friday The 13th??
Besides pt.'s 3, 9, 10 and the Jason Lives cdr, will there ever be any more music released for these films? It just seems not right considering, Nightmare on Elm Street and Halloween have had all scores released. Why hold back!?

Many, many reasons.
If it's owned by any of these guys, you'll die first:
- Universal
- Warner Brothers
- Paramount
It could have been recorded in LA or other high reuse fees areas.
And other prohibiting factors.
Plus I thought I read that some of the tapes were damaged.
You should ask filmscoremonthly.com member David Maxx. He's obsessed and would likely have the answers already.
Also try asking at buysoundtrax.com's forum. They're good at answering and telling what's holding a certain score back. :-)

Also if you read the early issues of fangoria back in the mid/late 80's you would know that Harry used the same masters for the 3 first films and only added the techno cue with a 2nd group..only thing missing was the end titles from the 1st film which can be ripped easy...there are a few F13th stuff going around that has no sfx..with end titles and main titles from all the films..ity all depends on who has it like me :)
i'm not selling anything here or making offers just letting u know
the facts...but yes mr.Bogan is right about the studios.

placidsecret from your original post you only mention parts 3, 9 and 10 as being released but part 6 was also. However it may have slipped you by as Alice cooper released it under the album title "constrictor" as he contributed many songs to the album. Apologies if you already know this.
