If we are lucky, there is a slight change, a very slight chance, Varese Sarabande may release it in October or November, when the 20th Anniversary Edition of both movies comes to DVD.

Like Stripes was just released by them, to coincide with the new DVD.

I've got the 'pop' release LP of Ghostbusters 2, but sadly there is no score or even a mention of Randy Edelmen. You get a couple of Bobby Brown tracks, Run DMC, New Edition, Elton John etc and "Flesh 'n Blood" Performed by Oingo Boingo (Danny Elfman's rock band).
