DeVol's BABY JANE and SWEET CHARLOTTE on DVD
Coming soon are the new DVD releases of both WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO BABY JANE? and HUSH...HUSH SWEET CHARLOTTE (BABY JANE in enhanced widescreen and CHARLOTTE making its debut.) Both have marvelous scores by Frank DeVol (CHARLOTTE's score was Oscar nominated in '64). Why doesn't someone issue a double soundtrack of the two? Both scores were never even available on vinyl!

Yes unfortunately Frank DeVol's scores are mostly unrepresented on discs so far. I thought FSM might release more after 'The Flight of the Phoenix' but nothing came out during those 5 or 6 years.
Personally what I would also like to have is DeVol's score for "Under The Yum-Yum Tree" because that's one I'm familiar with from the movie. But I bet the two you mention are equally interesting.
